There are some upcoming changes to the Taproot doctor team, and as always, the priority is keeping patient care consistent, thoughtful, and well-supported through the transition.

Dr. Kierstn’s Next Chapter

After many years of caring for families at Taproot, Dr. Kierstn has accepted a new position in Alpine, Texas. Her last day in the office will be March 19.

For the past 4.5 years, she has poured her heart into caring for pediatric, prenatal, and family patients. She has been a steady source of support for many in the Bulverde/Spring Branch community, and she will be deeply missed by both the Taproot team and her patients.

At the same time, this move is an exciting opportunity for her and her family, and the Taproot team fully supports her in taking this next step. It has also been made very clear that if this new role does not end up supporting her family or lifestyle the way she hopes, she will always have an open door at Taproot.

To give patients and friends a chance to say goodbye and celebrate her time here, Taproot is hosting a gathering in her honor:

Dr. Kierstn's Going Away Party

March 19th | 6:00p-7:15p

At Taproot

Everyone who wants to come by, share a hug, and wish her well is welcome.

What This Means for Patient Care

Taproot is actively searching for another pediatric-based chiropractor. While that process moves forward, the team has adjusted schedules to make sure patient care remains consistent and accessible—especially for children and prenatal patients.

Dr. Angie Stepping Back Into Weekly Practice

Over the last few months, Dr. Angie has been gradually easing back into patient care after a shoulder injury. The timing of that transition has turned out to be a blessing. She is now fully ready to step back into a regular weekly practice schedule.

Starting March 23, her weekly hours will be:

  • Monday: 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

  • Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

  • Wednesday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

These will be her new ongoing hours.

Until March 23, Dr. Angie will remain on her existing every-other-week schedule. If anyone would like to see her sooner, please check with Danielle or Haedyn at the front desk and they will do their best to get you on her schedule.

A quick reminder of her clinical background:

  • Founder of Taproot Chiropractic & Wellness

  • 13 years of patient care experience

  • Webster certified for pregnancy care

  • Proficient in SOT cranial adjusting for infants and children

  • Certified in:

    • Bioenergetic testing

    • Functional taping

    • Nasal release technique

    • Dry needling

The standards of care patients have come to expect from Dr. Kierstn were shaped by years of training and mentorship under Dr. Angie, which helps maintain continuity in Taproot’s approach to pediatric and family care.

Who You’ll See Next

Because Dr. Kierstn cares deeply about the patients she has served over the last 4.5 years, she is personally going patient by patient through everyone she has seen in the last six months. She is thoughtfully assigning each person to the doctor she believes will be the best fit for their care moving forward.

However, patients are never “stuck” with a single provider:

  • Patients are always welcome to switch to any Taproot doctor.

  • The doctors treat patients as a team and are happy to consult with each other or formally transfer care if that feels like a better fit.

A few helpful notes as families consider their options:

Looking Ahead

The Taproot team is genuinely sad to see Dr. Kierstn go and incredibly grateful for the years she has poured into this community. At the same time, they recognize that sometimes you have to take chances and follow new opportunities, and they are proud to support her in doing that.

What is not changing is Taproot’s commitment:

  • To provide thoughtful, high-quality chiropractic care

  • To support whole families—from pregnancy through the golden years

  • And to communicate clearly during transitions so no one is left wondering what comes next

Although Dr. Kierstn will be handling a lot of the load, patients with questions about scheduling, care plans, or which doctor might be the best fit are encouraged to ask at the front desk or call the office. The team is ready to help everyone land in the right place as Taproot moves into this next chapter.
