Hey Taproot peeps 👋

Some of you know that I’ve been slowly and intentionally adding patients back onto my schedule over the last few months, and I’m really excited to share an update.

I’m happy (and honestly relieved) to say that I believe my shoulder is healed, and I’m ready to jump back into patient care.

What this will look like is a gradual return. I’ll be seeing patients two days a week, every other week, and as those days fill, I’ll expand both days and eventually weeks. This allows me to make sure I’m showing up at my best—for you and for my body.

What my schedule will look like:

I’ll be seeing patients on the following dates:

  • February 16–18 (while Dr. Kierstn is on vacation)

  • February 24–25 (Kids Week)

  • March 10–11

  • March 24–25 (Kids Week)

  • April 7–8

And it will continue in that pattern until my schedule fills.

If you’d like to get on my schedule during any of these times, please call or text the office, and my staff will make sure that happens.

My hours:

  • Tuesdays: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Wednesdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

On Wednesdays, I’ll head out after patient care to make the drive home and spend time with my family.

A little personal update:

Many of you know that my family and I have been living in the Coastal Bend area, which we truly love (fishing is my favorite hobby). We’ll likely move back to the Hill Country for the summer while I continue this trial and decide what the long-term plan looks like.

I’ve been on the administrative side of things for the last six months—making sure everything stays steady, compliant, and running smoothly—but I’m really excited to be back on the doctor side of Taproot again.

Patient care is truly the best part of this job. The administrative and compliance work isn’t nearly as fun… but someone has to do it, and since I own the practice, that someone is me. Still, getting back into the adjusting room feels really, really good.

At some point, I may also begin accepting new patients again, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted when that happens. If you have a child or spouse that you want me to see, I will gladly see them with the understanding that they may need co-treatment with another Taproot doctor, but online scheduling for new patients will not be available at this time.

One more thing

I’m considering adding more availability during Kids Weeks immediately if patients want this. If that’s something you’d be interested in, please let my team know.

Danielle and Keith are the two managers who oversee practice scheduling, so if you’d like to share any feedback with them, that’s exactly what they’re there for.

Thank you for your patience, your support, and your trust. I’m really looking forward to seeing many of you soon!
