Kierstn Stolhandske, DC

Dr. Kierstn Stolhandske is Taproot's Lead Clinician. She grew up as a multi-sport athlete where she relied on Doctors of Chiropractic to keep her injury-free and ready for her next event. After working in the fitness industry, coaching, and in child development she knew that she needed to do more for her community.  She found her calling after holding her infant nephew as he was being adjusted for the first time. Feeling the relaxation and relief in his body after a gentle adjustment, she knew chiropractic aligned with her desire to help others.

Dr. Kierstn graduated from Texas Chiropractic College with her Doctorate and the desire to move back and serve her hometown of Bulverde. Being a Bracken Christian School Alumni, Dr. Kierstn is familiar with the rugged nature of the hill country lifestyle. Dr. Kierstn is Webster Technique, Dry Needling, and Bioenergetic Testing Certified. She is also educated in many soft tissue techniques including, myofacial decompression (cupping), and functional taping. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

In her free time Dr. Kierstn enjoys rearranging her house, playing volleyball, hiking, road trips, and is always accompanied on her adventures by her fiancé, daughter, son, and their Mini Aussie.

Hannah Cork, DC

Dr. Hannah Cork is an Associate Chiropractor at Taproot and is originally from the UK. It was while working as front desk staff for a chiropractor in a multidisciplinary clinic that her passion for holistic healthcare was ignited. She was inspired and encouraged by the lead clinician to go and train as a chiropractor herself. This lead to a 10 year working relationship in which they served their local community together as friends and colleagues.

Dr. Hannah graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxfordshire, UK and practiced in wellness clinics in the English countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds. She is knowledgeable in functional taping, laser therapy and soft tissue techniques. Dr. Hannah is also certified in Epley Maneuver used for dizziness and vertigo and Dry Needling.

Dr. Hannah enjoys seeing all types of patients, but her passion lies in helping those with hypermobility and connective tissue disorders. Her primary method of adjusting is the McTimoney technique, a gentle whole body approach popular with all types of patients but especially lending itself to those who may be a little more sensitive. She has taken part in the EDS ECHO programs for both adults and pediatrics.

Dr. Hannah is currently the only licensed McTimoney chiropractor in the US.

In her free time Dr. Hannah enjoys road trips and spending quality time with her Texan husband and their three cats. After living together in the UK for many years, they made the huge decision to relocate to San Antonio in early 2024 and are now busy building their lives here, enjoying all the wonderful things Texas has to offer.

Currently, Dr. Hannah is only in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Nesemio Santiago, D.C.

Dr. Nesemio Santiago, known to his patients as Dr. Ness, is an Associate Chiropractor at Taproot. His path to chiropractic began with his love for long-distance cycling and an active lifestyle.
