Kids Days Are Becoming Kids Week 🌿

There’s nothing quite like a Kids Day at Taproot — the laughter, the energy, and the kind of semi-controlled chaos that fills the clinic when little ones take over.
Dr. Angie has been running Kids Days in practice for 12 years, and over that time, we’ve learned a lot about what helps kids thrive — and what happens when they don’t get adjusted often enough. One of the biggest patterns we’ve noticed is that during five-week months, kids (and parents) simply don’t do as well between visits.
💡 What We’ve Noticed
When kids go five weeks between visits instead of four, we start to see changes in their health:
They’re not sleeping as well,
They show more signs of a stressed nervous system, and
We see more sports- or backpack-related injuries, especially around the start of the school year.
A lot of parents notice it too — their child might be more irritable, get sick more often, or complain of headaches or sore muscles. These are all signs that their nervous system is working harder than it should be.
🌿 Why Kids Week Matters
One of the biggest reasons we have Kids Week in the first place is not just to care for what’s currently bothering your child — but to prevent small issues from becoming big ones later on in life.
When we can catch and correct misalignments early — before they become chronic — we’re helping their bodies communicate and adapt better, grow stronger, and stay resilient long-term.
Even though we always encourage families to come more often when kids are in sports seasons (sometimes weekly), we also know that not every family can do that. Kids Week helps us make sure that every child still gets consistent, quality care on a schedule that supports their nervous system and their health.
🌟 So Here’s the Change
Starting this winter, Kids Days will officially become Kids Week — one full week (Monday through Friday), every four weeks.
This means:
More consistent care for growing kids
Easier scheduling for families
Better support for their health
The same special Kids Week pricing to keep care affordable
More after-school appointments available for families needing late-day visits
By spreading Kids Week across a full week instead of just a few days, we’ll be able to offer more flexibility for families — especially those with busy school, sports, and work schedules.
Although we will be raising some of our prices in 2026, at this time we are not planning on raising Kids Week pricing until 2027.
Our team will be reaching out to families over the next few weeks to make sure everyone can get scheduled out for the rimes they prefer.

💙 Our Goal: Health That Grows With Them
We’ve seen the difference consistent care makes for kids — better sleep, calmer bodies, stronger immune systems, and fewer injuries. And we’ve also seen what happens when we stretch too long between visits.
Our goal is simple: to support healthy, growing bodies so they can move, learn, grow, and live with ease. This new rhythm is just one more way we’re helping your family stay well, naturally.
